BodyViz Named Breakout Company of the Year by Technology Association of Iowa

BodyViz received the Breakout Company of the Year Award at this year's 2011 Prometheus Awards. Around 600 technology professionals from across Iowa attended this year's awards ceremony. Presented by the Technology Association of Iowa and LWBJ Financial, the event honored companies and business leaders who have excelled in the technology industry.

BodyViz wins the $25,000 top prize in the fourth annual John Pappajohn Iowa Business Plan Competition

More than 60 Iowa businesses entered the competition. Four finalists were selected and the winner was announced at the Iowa Venture Capital and Entrepreneur Conference in Des Moines. The money will be used for research and development as well as marketing and public relations efforts.

BodyViz Named Startup Company of the Year by Technology Association of Iowa

Recently awarded the prestigious Prometheus Award for Startup Company of the Year by the Technology Association of Iowa, BodyViz creates incredible 3D MRI, CT scan visualizations, all quickly and easily created from a patient's MRI or CT scan data. Leann Jacobson, President of the Iowa Technology Association says, “The work of our winners is on a world-class scale. The BodyViz team created technology that was not only impressive on paper, but will also improve the quality of life for the people it touches by helping medical professionals more effectively treat patients.”
